Web designer is a person that designs and prepares content for the World Wide Web (the World Wide Web is a point-and-click user-friendly Internet interface. It can also be considered the graphical extension of the Internet, since all the pages on the Web are formatted in HTML), including text, images, site architecture and multimedia.

Web designers may use Web-authoring software or an HTML editor to create the actual pages, or they may design the overall look and let a Web master do the actual coding. Most often, they are also proficient with Web graphics and images.

The web designer will create 2-3 design ideas and drill down to a final design that properly supports a company's branding and message. The web designer takes many parts into consideration when designing a web site including, fonts, colors, navigation, content organization, interactivity, page layout, the work flow (helps you automate a range of business tasks, and electronically route the right information to the right people at the right time. Intelligent agents notify users of pending work, and help managers route approvals through the system quickly ) of information from page to page and all related technical issues.
